Why I want to serve

Having been elected to his current position as Board Chairman in the Spring of 2025, Michael is seeking a nomination to the Board of Directors to ensure that the vital work currently underway continues without interruption. His tenure as Chairman has been defined by an effort to professionalize the Association, assess board capability needs, and prepare the organization for future stability. He views the role of Chairman not just as an honor, but as a responsibility built on trust and credibility. Michael is dedicated to acting as both a guardian of the 1/9 legacy and a driver of organizational development, ensuring the Association remains a strong institution for generations of Marines and their families to come.

Work Experience

Michael’s professional background spans several decades of progressive executive leadership in technology and operations. He currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, where he focuses on advancing infrastructure and supporting members on a national scale. His leadership approach is supported by three academic degrees that have sharpened his technical and strategic perspectives. Throughout his career, Michael has specialized in organizational stewardship, professionalizing operations, and driving sustainable growth within complex member-based organizations.
