This community was built from the ground up, connection by connection. It began in the jungles of Vietnam and carried through the streets of Mogadishu, the sands of Iraq, and the mountains of Afghanistan.
Your donation keeps that legacy alive, not in memory but in action. Donate where the need is greatest, or directly to humanitarian aid or scholarships.
Support the 1/9 Mission
One-time or monthly. The Board allocates these donations where they can best advance the Association’s overall mission.
Humanitarian Aid Fund
Donations are applied directly to humanitarian assistance for Marines, Corpsmen, and families of 1/9 facing hardship or crisis.
Scholarship Fund
Donations are applied directly to scholarships for the next generation of leaders who carry the 1/9 legacy.

Can I choose where my donation goes?
Yes. Donations to the 1/9 Mission are allocated by the Board where the need is greatest. Donations to the Humanitarian Aid Fund or Scholarship Fund are applied directly to those missions, and you can donate to either one from its page.
Is it tax deductible?
The 1st Battalion 9th Marines Association is a registered 501(c)(19) nonprofit organization. Your donation may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor.
How do recurring donations work?
Recurring donations are processed automatically each month on the date of your first pledge. You'll receive a receipt each time, and you can manage your plan anytime in your Donorbox donor portal.
Can I dedicate this in honor of someone?
Yes. In memory of a fallen brother, in honor of someone who served, or in support of someone still fighting their battle, you can dedicate your donation and include a message.
How do I get a copy of my receipt?
Every donation sends an email receipt with a link to your donor account, where you can access your donation history and download receipts.
