Our community is spread across the country and across generations, and people naturally lose touch. A national organization alone can’t keep relationships alive everywhere.
Membership builds the network. Local chapters make it personal.
We build membership as both a national network and a local community. We find and reconnect Marines, Corpsmen, and families, and we support local chapters that create year-round connection, gatherings, outreach, and service.
Joining 1/9 Association should feel like joining people, not filling out a form.
Find your local area
Every chapter starts as a local area. A Local Area Coordinator (LAC) brings members together, welcomes new ones, and lays the groundwork for a full chapter.
