Compassion, Understanding, Support

Woody and Gail Postle Family Auxiliary Committee

We recognize the invaluable role families play, and in their toughest times, we're here to offer support, understanding, and a platform that respects each family's unique journey through grief and healing.

Our veteran non-profit organization is deeply committed to supporting our members and their families, especially during the most challenging times. Recognizing the profound personal impact of loss, we established the Woody and Gail Postle Family Auxiliary Committee. This committee, named in honor of Woody Postle’s unwavering dedication to our members, is built on the principles of empathy, respect, and effective communication.

The committee's primary goal is to ensure that families can express their wishes in their preferred manner and timeline, respecting the individual ways each family processes grief. Our services include arranging a memorial gift at funerals to honor the service and sacrifice of the deceased, acting as a buffer to manage information flow and prevent overwhelm, and providing essential resources for grief support.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we pledge to refine our strategies based on feedback and experience, with the ultimate aim of creating a supportive arm of the association that families can rely on during their most sensitive times. Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen our community further, reinforcing the bonds that unite us and demonstrating our collective resilience in times of sorrow. Together, we stand strong.
